Services
Sustainability & Education
We empower employees, students and children to find their way in a rapidly changing world – with sustainable growth and environmental and social responsibility at the centre.

Teaching method
Prepare – Draw – Deepen (PDD)
In training and courses we work with PDD, the case-based teaching method Holger Holland developed at the Berlin College of Business and Technology (BCBT) and the World Cleanup Institute. PDD builds on the case method of the Harvard tradition and changes one thing at its core: it makes preparation the rational choice for every participant.
1
Assign
The task is set in the session only – on the final slides.
2
Activate
24 hours before, a short refinement note and three cold-call questions arrive by e-mail.
3
Draw & Defend
A randomly drawn group defends its work and is scored on a rubric.
4
Deepen
The input builds on and corrects what the room has produced.
One longitudinal case runs through all sessions; in the final session every group defends the whole project before a jury. The method draws on research on retrieval practice (Roediger & Karpicke, 2006), active learning (Freeman et al., 2014) and cold calling (Dallimore, Hertenstein & Platt, 2013). Piloted in 2026 in the MBA module “Strategy, Organisation & Project Management” at BCBT; a multi-site evaluation is planned for 2027.
